Newbie's Question: Risk Sizing During High-Impact News
แปลอัตโนมัติจากต้นฉบับ · อ่านต้นฉบับ (English)
Hello everyone, I'm quite new to the market and trying to understand risk sizing. Normally, I'm very strict about setting a % risk per trade. However, when there's major economic news like NFP or CPI, where the charts swing wildly, sometimes my SL gets hit easily, or even gapped over. This messes up my pre-calculated Risk/Reward.
So, I'd like to ask experienced traders: How do you manage risk sizing during such high-impact news? Do you stick to your usual % risk, reduce your lot size, or do you have other techniques to handle high volatility during those times? I feel like I haven't quite figured this out yet. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
