Question about interpreting core vs. headline CPI in high inflation

I'm trying to understand market movements when $USD CPI numbers are released. In this period of high inflation, if headline and core CPI move in different directions, for example, headline goes up but core stays flat or slightly down, which one do most traders give more weight to? And how does this affect the view on the Fed's decisions?
