During a period of high market volatility when $BTC was surging, I opened a Short Futures position, thinking there might be a pullback. As the price rose a bit, I kept moving my Stop Loss up. Eventually, it surged even harder, leading to liquidation instead of just a normal Stop Loss hit. The damage was much worse than I expected.
