Lessons from Gold Greed

When $XAUUSD gold prices were surging, I remember seeing only profit, not looking at fundamentals or technicals. I just chased the green candles. The problem was I increased my lot size too much. At first, I was making good profits. But when the market dipped slightly, instead of cutting losses according to my plan, I became overconfident that it would recover and refused to cut. The end result was a huge Stop Loss, losing almost all my gains, and a portion of my additional capital also disappeared. The important lesson is: don't let greed make you forget discipline. Risk management is truly the key.
