KYB/Onboarding - More Documents Than Necessary?

Looking at a new Prop firm, the KYC/KYB requirements are so intrusive that I wonder if this is normal for the industry. Right now, there are more documents than opening a bank account. Anyone with experience, please advise on what I should focus on.
