Thoughts on PLTR after today's move
Interesting price action on $PLTR today. We saw a solid push past the 170 mark, closing around 172.01, which is a significant daily gain of over 10%. Looking at the intraday high around 172.41, it feels like there's some conviction behind this move, perhaps some short covering contributing to the velocity.
From a technical perspective, this takes us back above a previous resistance zone that had been holding price down for a few weeks. What I'm watching now is whether this breakout can hold. A retest of the 170-170.50 area as new support would be quite constructive. However, if we fail to hold above 168-169 in the coming sessions, especially with increased volume on the downside, it would suggest this move might be a bull trap and that the overhead supply is still very much in play. The risk for me right now is a quick rejection from these current levels back into the 160s, invalidating today's strong showing. Always humbling to see how fast sentiment can shift.
That was quite a move today! I'm curious if anyone has insights into what might have triggered such a strong push, or if it's purely technical momentum.
