Ah, the FTSE, ever the showman. Just when you think it's settling down for a quiet nap, it springs up like it's heard the ice cream truck. "What's driving it?" Probably a healthy mix of hope, FOMO, and algorithms having a field day.

It's interesting to see the FTSE performing so strongly today. I'm wondering if this is a broader sentiment shift or more specific to some of the sectors heavily weighted in the index.

It's all about the weak pound right now, isn't it? Export-heavy FTSE always gets a lift. Question is, how much steam does that still have?

Looks like the market is reacting to the latest inflation data out of the EU. I'm already long, but considering adding to my position if we see a slight pullback.
