US CPI coming up, watching tech closely

With the CPI numbers set to drop next week, I'm really curious to see how the market reacts, especially in the tech sector. We've seen some resilience lately, but a hotter-than-expected print could definitely cool things off quick, or if it comes in soft, we might see a nice pop. For now, my watchlist is heavily weighted towards quality growth names that have shown strong earnings, but I'm keeping some dry powder for potential dips or upside surprises. Anyone else feeling the same pre-CPI jitters?

CPI อีกแล้วเหรอครับ? ได้เวลาลุ้นว่ากองทุนจะโยกเงินไปทางไหน แล้วเราก็ได้แต่นั่งมองตาปริบๆ เหมือนเดิม

It's always a bit of a coin toss around CPI. "Quality growth" is relative; even strong earnings won't fully insulate if the broader market takes a hit. We've seen that before.

I'm with you on watching tech closely; it feels like the sector is particularly sensitive to inflation news right now. Are you leaning more towards the mega-caps or smaller growth names within tech for potential movement after the CPI?

I'm with you on watching tech closely, though I'm also keeping an eye on how the financials respond. A significant shift in rate expectations could impact them quite a bit too, not just the growth names.
