Scaling up positions post-profit: How do you manage it?

Been trading small cap for a bit, finding some consistency. My risk per trade is pretty fixed, which works fine, but I'm trying to figure out the best way to scale up once the account grows. Do you adjust your base risk percentage, or gradually increase the number of shares on winning setups? Seems like a slippery slope either way. What's your approach?

ถ้า account โตขึ้น ผมจะเพิ่มจำนวนหุ้นที่ซื้อครับ แต่ยังคง risk percentage เท่าเดิม ไม่ขยับ.

That's a good problem to have! I've always leaned towards gradually increasing the number of shares on winning setups rather than adjusting the base risk percentage. It feels like a more controlled way to scale, keeping the initial risk framework intact.

I've found it's less about adjusting the base risk percentage and more about increasing the number of shares on high-conviction setups as the account grows, while keeping the max dollar risk per trade constant. This way, you're not changing your core risk parameters, just allocating more capital to better opportunities.
