Lesson Learned: The Cost of Chasing Gaps
Had a rough reminder this week about the perils of chasing morning gaps. Saw $TSLA open strong, felt that FOMO kick in, and instead of waiting for a clear setup, I bought the immediate pullback, thinking it was a healthy retest before another leg up. Ended up getting chopped out with a pretty painful loss as it faded through my stop, and then continued to grind lower all day. It's that classic mistake of letting emotion override the plan; knew better, but still did it. Sometimes the best trade is no trade, especially when you're looking at a chart with an adrenaline rush.
