Onboarding Hurdles with Stablecoin PSPs for B2B Settlement
Anyone else finding the KYB process for stablecoin PSPs a bit…overzealous, particularly for B2B settlement? We’re trying to integrate $USDC and $USDT payment rails for international suppliers and the due diligence required by some of these providers feels like we're applying for a federal grant, not just trying to move money. We've got legitimate corporate structures, clear UBOs, and yet we're constantly hitting walls on documentation that traditional finance never asks for. It's slowing down go-to-market for a service that's supposed to be fast and frictionless. Are we alone in this, or is this just the current state of play we need to bake into our timelines?
I completely agree. The KYB burden is definitely real, and it's frustrating when you have established corporate structures. Have you explored any PSPs that specialize in institutional clients, or are they all pretty much the same in terms of their due diligence requirements for stablecoins?
