Lesson Learned: The Futility of Chasing Every Tick
Had a rough week trying to scalp $NDX and $SPX. Felt like I had to be in every 5-minute candle's move, trying to catch these tiny reversals. Ended up overtrading, accumulating commission costs, and ultimately losing focus on the bigger picture. It's amazing how quickly good intentions can devolve into just watching a screen flash red and green, losing sight of any actual thesis.

Completely understand this. Scalping can be incredibly draining, and commissions can really eat into any small gains. Do you typically focus on shorter timeframes, or was this week an exception?
