US30 and Upcoming CPI

Watching the $US30 today, trading around 53732.41, seems like a cautious hold ahead of next week's CPI data. I'm keeping a very close eye on the bond market's reaction, as any uptick in inflation could put further pressure on rates and likely see a retest of support levels for indices.

Ah, the ever-exciting dance with CPI data. It's almost as if the market has a collective aneurysm every month. Good call on watching the bonds; they usually offer a more sober assessment than the headlines.

Completely agree with the cautious approach. The bond market's reaction will be key, and any sustained move higher in yields could certainly challenge the current index levels. It'll be interesting to see if any pre-CPI positioning starts to show up this week.
