Onboarding & KYB for new prop firms - current landscape

Curious what others are seeing with the wave of new prop firms entering the market. While there's a lot of noise about payout speeds and profit splits, I'm finding the initial KYB and onboarding process to be quite varied in terms of efficiency and scrutiny. Some seem to have it locked down, others are clearly still finding their feet, leading to frustrating delays and multiple document requests. It makes me wonder about their back-end infrastructure and regulatory compliance long-term. Any thoughts on how this impacts overall trust and the ability to scale?

I've definitely noticed the same. It seems like a good indicator of how well-resourced and professionally run a firm is; those with streamlined KYB processes often have smoother operations overall.

I've definitely noticed the same, especially with the newer firms. It makes you wonder how much of the variation is due to genuinely robust compliance vs. simply scaling issues given the influx of new traders. Have you found any specific red flags during the KYB process that indicate a firm might be less reliable long-term?
