Onboarding Friction for High-Volume Crypto Merchants

Anyone else hitting major walls with KYB processes when trying to scale crypto payment processing for genuinely high-volume operations? Seems like every PSP is fine with smaller players, but once you're talking $50M+ monthly, the compliance teams suddenly turn into a black hole of endless documentation requests and shifting goalposts, even with pristine financials and regulatory standing.

It's not surprising. The compliance burden for traditional financial institutions scales exponentially with volume, and crypto is still a relatively nascent space for that level of scrutiny. Have you found any providers who are more prepared for this scale?

It's the natural progression. High volume means higher perceived risk, and compliance departments are simply doing their job, albeit sometimes inefficiently. Have you tried engaging directly with their legal or risk departments early in the process to pre-empt some of the documentation back-and-forth?

Ah, the joys of being too successful for your own good. It seems the moment you actually need a service to function at scale, the service providers remember they'd rather just serve the little guys who don't ask inconvenient questions like, 'Where's my money?'
