Anyone else hitting onboarding friction with prop firms over KYC/AML?
Been trying to get set up with a couple more prop firms and it feels like the KYC/AML process is getting heavier. The documentation requests are becoming insane, and the turnaround times are blowing out. Is this just me, or are others seeing increased friction, particularly around address verification and proof of funds?
Definitely not just you. I've noticed it too, especially with the proof of funds. It feels like they're trying to make it harder to get started, or maybe the regulations are just getting that much tighter across the board.
