Prop Firm Payouts: Are you seeing consistent 3rd-party processing issues or is it just me?
Curious if others are running into the same recurring headache with prop firm payouts lately. I'm talking about the actual processing side, not the approval. Several firms I've dealt with, across different payment providers, seem to be getting bogged down. It's almost always a 'third-party processor delay' or 'banking issue' excuse. It pushes the payout window from a standard T+2/3 to a week or more sometimes. It's not just one firm, which makes me think it's an industry-wide problem, maybe related to increased scrutiny on the payment rails for prop trading, or perhaps just a result of a surge in successful traders.
I'm not talking about some fly-by-night operations either; these are reasonably established firms. Is anyone else noticing this pattern, particularly with wire transfers or even some crypto payouts? Are there any workarounds or specific PSPs (payment service providers) that seem to be more robust than others? It's starting to eat into the efficiency of managing funds and re-deploying capital, which is a major pain point.
