KYB friction and payout reliability - the unglamorous side of prop trading

Anyone else finding that the KYC/KYB process with some of these prop firms is becoming more convoluted than a tax audit, only to then worry if the payout will actually hit your account without a significant 'processing fee' vanishing act?
