Predicting FTSE's Monthly Close vs. Recent Highs

Considering the FTSE's run today, hitting 10701.32, I'd put the odds of it closing above 10700 by month-end at around 40%. While we saw that peak, the market's been a bit hesitant to firmly hold these higher levels, often seeing a pullback. It's got the momentum, but the conviction isn't quite there to just blast through without some profit-taking first, especially given the current macro jitters. Always a good laugh to see how often it bounces right off a fresh high, isn't it?
