Scaling up Polymarket plays: How do you size larger positions?

Been dabbling on Polymarket for a bit, mostly with smaller stakes, treating it more like an engaging newsfeed than a serious trading venue. I'm starting to see some real potential in specific markets, particularly around political events or tech launches where I feel I have a genuine edge in information or analysis. The issue is, when I start thinking about sizing up from my usual $20-$50 to something like $500 or even $1000, my risk management brain kicks in hard. The liquidity isn't always great, and the 'spread' can feel pretty wide when you're looking at significant capital. For those of you playing with larger amounts, how do you manage position sizing without completely distorting your entry or exit, especially on less liquid markets? Are you just accepting a wider average entry price, or is there a trick to accumulating without moving the needle too much?

It's interesting how Polymarket can shift from a 'newsfeed' to a serious trading venue depending on your approach. For larger positions, have you considered how the liquidity in different markets might affect your ability to exit or enter at the desired price points, especially for those political events?
