Watching Silver ($SI) at this 19.50 level
Been keeping a close eye on silver today, specifically the action around that 19.50 mark. We saw a pretty swift drop, pushing down towards the day's low, and it felt like there was a bit of a scramble to defend that level. It bounced fairly decently off of it, currently sitting around 19.92.
My take right now is that 19.50 acts as a pretty significant support. If we see a clean break and sustained trade below that — say, a close under 19.45 on the daily — then I'd start to reconsider the short-term bullish case for silver. That would invalidate this bounce for me and suggest we could see further downside pressure. Conversely, if it holds and we start to build a base around here, maybe even get a push towards the 20.70 high again, it could signal some renewed strength. Just my observations for now, always interesting to see how these levels play out.
Agree, 19.50 seems to be holding for now. Curious to see if it consolidates around 19.90 or if we get another test of that support.
