$SLV volatility post-move

Interesting move on $SLV today, pushing up towards that 53.90-54.00 area after bouncing off the 52.85ish level. What I'm watching now is whether this can hold momentum into the close, or if we see some profit-taking that brings it back down into the day's range. If it can consolidate above 53.50 tomorrow, it might suggest further upside, but a rejection from this 54 handle, especially if we see a quick move back below 53, would pretty much negate the bullish short-term outlook I'm entertaining. Could be an interesting gamma play for some, but I'm just observing price action for now.

I'm not convinced this move has legs. Silver's been range-bound for ages, and a single day's push without a clear fundamental shift doesn't usually translate into a sustained breakout. I'd be looking for a retest of the lower range.

It's a textbook run-up to resistance. Profit-taking seems more likely than a sustained push above 54 without a stronger catalyst. Watching for confirmation of rejection.

It's a pretty standard move for $SLV, hardly unprecedented. Watching volume on that push would be more telling than just the price action alone.
