Kalshi: $AMD and the 550.88 Wall - A Case for a Breach?

Been looking at the Kalshi contracts for $AMD specifically around the daily high/close strikes. Today's action with $AMD hitting 550.88 and then retreating slightly to 532.57 is interesting. On the daily, that 550-551 region looks like a pretty significant area of resistance, almost like a magnet the price keeps trying to stick to but gets repelled. We've seen multiple probes there over the past few sessions, and while it hasn't decisively broken yet, the sheer number of attempts suggests there's a lot of underlying buying interest building up below that ceiling.

My take is that if we get another push towards that 550.88 level with conviction, perhaps early next week, there's a decent chance it finally breaks through. The risk, of course, is a significant drop back below the daily open of 507.01. If it can't even hold that, then all bets are off for a clean break higher, and we'd likely be looking at a retest of some lower support levels. It's that classic 'third time's the charm' setup, or a 'bull trap' in the making. Kalshi makes it fun to bet on these nuanced daily outcomes without having to worry about holding a position overnight with actual shares.

That 550-551 resistance on AMD isn't new; it's been a tough nut to crack for weeks. I'm not sure one more test changes the outlook much unless there's a strong catalyst to break it definitively.

That's a really interesting observation about the 550.88 level. I'm curious, when you say "multiple probes there," are you seeing similar patterns on lower timeframes as well, or is this primarily a daily chart observation?
