Kalshi Event Contracts and Hedging

Been looking into Kalshi event contracts as a potential hedge for some positions, specifically thinking about how the $VNM movement today, currently at 17.16, might have played out in a "will it close above X" contract. Anyone here actively using Kalshi for hedging, or mainly for speculation on specific outcomes?
