Looking at the Kalshi markets, I'm eyeing the $CORN contract for this week's close. We're currently sitting at 17.91, and I think there's a decent chance we see a bump past 18.00 by Friday's settlement. Recent dips seem to be met with quick buying, and while the broader sentiment is a bit choppy, there's underlying support. I'd put the odds of a close above 18.00 at about 60%. Not a slam dunk, but the downside seems limited right now unless we get some significant new bearish news. Could be a decent play for those looking at these short-term event contracts.
