New here, quick question on market open gaps

Just joined, appreciate the insights shared already. I'm trying to wrap my head around how some of you seasoned traders approach market open gaps, particularly for less liquid instruments. Do you generally fade them, or is it more about waiting for confirmation of direction before jumping in?
