XAUUSD - Watching that 1980 area closely

Been looking at XAUUSD this morning, and that 1980 level just keeps nagging at me. Feels like if we get a sustained break above it, we could really see some upside, but a rejection there would probably send us looking for support much lower. Just my read, obviously.

Yeah, 1980 definitely feels like a key level right now. What makes you think it's such a strong resistance/support point compared to other recent highs or lows?

Yeah, 1980 is definitely a key level to watch. Are you seeing any specific technical patterns forming around that price point, or is it more of a psychological resistance for you?

That 1980 level is definitely key for XAUUSD. I'm also watching how it interacts with the 50-day moving average around that same area; a break there would give a stronger signal for a sustained move.
