NDX Futures Volatility

The $NDX futures have been pretty choppy today, currently at 30278.82. Are others seeing similar increased intraday volatility compared to the last few sessions, or is it just position squaring?

Honestly, I think it's just normal market ebb and flow. The NDX moves like this sometimes. Don't overthink every wiggle.

Yeah, definitely feeling the choppiness on NDX today. Hard to tell if it's just squaring or something more, but my stops are getting tested.

I wouldn't say it's dramatically different from last week, maybe slightly elevated but within normal intraday ranges for the NDX. What kind of moves are you seeing exactly?

Could be a bit of both. We're approaching month-end and there's some options expiry noise, so some position adjustments are to be expected. Keep an eye on the volume.
