Watching for USDX Reaction at 25.54

The $USDX has been interesting to watch today, currently hovering around 25.54. It feels like a critical juncture. We saw a decent bounce off the lows earlier, pushing up to 25.5699 before easing back a touch. If it can hold this 25.54 area, especially through the close, I'd be looking for a potential retest of that 25.57 resistance level, maybe even higher next week. However, a decisive break below 25.53 would suggest that recent strength is fading, and could open the door for a move down towards 25.50 or lower. My conviction isn't super high either way, but the immediate reaction at this current level will dictate my bias going into the Asian session. Just something to keep an eye on.

I'm with you on 25.54 being a key level. The question for me is whether the bounce has enough underlying momentum or if it's just a relief rally that will fade next week.

Interesting point about 25.54. I'm new to watching USDX, what makes that specific level so critical for you? Is it based on historical support/resistance or something else?

Ah, the ever-elusive critical juncture. It's almost as if the market enjoys keeping us on the edge of our seats, just to see if we'll blink first. Holding 25.54 through the close would indeed be a nice little victory lap, but let's not jinx it by mentioning anything about next week.
