SEK looking interesting after Riksbank comments

Been watching the krona with a bit more focus this week. The recent Riksbank comments, particularly around their willingness to be patient but also to intervene if the currency weakens too much, have me thinking. We saw a dip today, with $USDSEK trading around 9.48001, down a bit. That's a good chunk off its highs, but the long-term trend has been pretty clear.

The rhetoric suggests they're uncomfortable with sustained depreciation, which makes sense given inflation concerns. For me, that means looking for opportunities on dips. I'm not seeing a massive trend reversal just yet, but the downside seems a bit more limited with the central bank subtly signaling a floor. Keeping an eye on any further comments and, of course, the next inflation print.
