Onboarding speed with new institutional partners – anyone cracking the code?

Starting to wonder if the universe actually runs on manual document verification when you're trying to onboard a new liquidity provider or payment processor. We're talking weeks for what feels like fairly standard KYC/KYB, and it inevitably bogs down our own rollout timelines. Are we missing some secret handshake, or is everyone else just as resigned to the glacial pace of due diligence among the larger players? Sometimes feels like we're still faxing paperwork across the digital divide.

It's not a secret handshake you're missing; it's more like a secret ritual involving ancient scrolls and a quill pen. Pretty sure somewhere there's a dedicated team whose sole job is to decipher smudged fax signatures from 2007.

We've found that having all your own documentation perfectly organized and pre-vetted by a third-party legal service can shave a little time off, but it's still a crawl. The bottleneck often seems to be internal to the larger institutions themselves.

It's definitely a bottleneck. We've seen some improvement by pre-packaging almost everything imaginable on our end, but even then, it often comes down to their internal workflows and priorities. Curious if anyone has found a service that effectively streamlines the counterparty's side of the diligence.
