On chasing the DAX momentum a couple of years back

I still remember trying to jump on the DAX's morning momentum a few years ago. My mistake was not respecting the early session volatility; I had an entry plan based on a 15-minute chart breakout, but FOMO pushed me to go in on the 5-minute candle, only to see it reverse sharply and take out my stop almost immediately. Ended up missing the actual, sustained breakout that came an hour later, which was a tough pill to swallow.
