DAX Holding Up, but ECB Pressure Mounting?
It's interesting to see the DAX resilience today, especially with some of the chatter around the ECB's hawkish tone. Despite the broader market concerns, and even with something like $RBLX taking a major hit, the European indices seem to be absorbing the news without a significant break down. Makes me wonder if the market has already priced in a lot of the anticipated rate hikes, or if there's simply more underlying strength than the headlines suggest.
Still keeping a close eye on the bond yields, as any sustained upward movement there could really start to put pressure on some of the growth names in Europe. My watchlist for the next few weeks is heavily skewed towards companies with solid balance sheets and pricing power, assuming we're in for a continued period of inflation and higher rates.
