Scaling out of DAX futures positions - any specific considerations for Europe?
Still getting my head around managing larger positions and the mental aspect of scaling out. For those trading DAX futures, specifically, are there any unique considerations you factor in when you're taking profits? I understand the general principles of scaling, but given the timezones and potential for quick reversals during specific European market hours, do you have a more conservative approach or maybe specific price action triggers you look for that differ from, say, US indices? I find myself often getting whipsawed on what I think is a good scale-out point, only for price to rip higher.

I've found that paying close attention to ECB announcements or major economic data releases around European open/close can definitely influence how aggressively I scale out. Do you usually adjust your scaling strategy around those times?
