Anyone else finding KYC/onboarding a major choke point recently?

It feels like over the last six months, every new prop firm or even just adding a new broker for instrument access has become an absolute slog. The initial KYC documents are fine, but then it's the back-and-forth, the 'we need this specific format' or the 'our system can't verify that address' that just drags on. It's especially frustrating when trying to capitalize on short-term opportunities but getting stuck in weeks of admin.

Are others experiencing similar bottlenecks? Is it increased regulatory scrutiny across the board, or are some platforms just terribly inefficient? Curious if there are any specific regions or types of firms that are worse than others.

I've definitely noticed the same, especially with some of the newer, smaller prop firms. It makes you wonder if they're understaffed on the compliance side or if the regulations themselves have become significantly more burdensome, leading to a much slower process overall.
