Feeling uneasy about the $MATIC pump today
Anyone else looking at this $MATIC move today and feeling a bit of FOMO, but also a healthy dose of skepticism? It's up over 3.5% already, hitting around $0.2826 and seeing highs near $0.28664. On the surface, great, green is good. But it feels very much like a follow-the-leader pump in the broader crypto space rather than any strong fundamental catalyst specifically for Polygon.
I'm finding myself leaning more and more into the idea that these kind of quick, broad-brush pumps in the altcoin market are often the precursor to a quick shakeout. Don't get me wrong, I'm not bearish on the tech long-term, but I'm just not seeing anything that justifies this kind of jump today. Am I missing something obvious here? Or is this just another case of pure market sentiment overriding everything else for a few hours? Would love to hear some pushback if anyone sees a strong case for this recent move.
Ah, the classic "is it real or is it Memorex" crypto pump. Sometimes it's best to grab a snack and watch the show, especially when the underlying reason is 'because other things are also going up'.
