Is $NG showing early signs of a sustained rally or just short-term noise?

Watching $NG today, currently at 5.255, up 1.45% and pushing yesterday's high. It feels like there's some underlying strength building after the dip, potentially signaling more than just a typical bounce. I'm wondering if the recent action, specifically how it's holding above the 5.12 low from today, suggests a real shift in momentum. Am I seeing things, or could this be the start of something more durable? Change my mind.

The hold above 5.12 is interesting, but volume needs to follow through to confirm a sustained rally. Otherwise, it might just be short covering.

It's a valid question, and the resilience above 5.12 is worth noting. However, I'd want to see how it performs relative to the 20-day moving average on higher volume before calling it a sustained rally. Short-term noise can often look like a trend in its early stages.

It's too early to call this a sustained rally on a 1.45% move. We need to see it hold these levels and push through some key resistance for more than a day or two before anyone seriously considers it a "shift in momentum." Watch the volume, but don't get ahead of yourself.

I'm leaning towards short-term noise. While it's holding above that 5.12 low, the broader macro picture for energy demand is still a bit murky for a sustained rally, in my opinion.
