Crypto: Anyone Else Feel Like Position Sizing Is a Constant Battle?

Been trading crypto for about a year now, mostly dabbling in altcoins with a small portion of my portfolio. I've had some decent wins and some gut-wrenching losses, which I guess is par for the course. But my biggest hang-up, the one that keeps me up at night, is always position sizing. I read all the advice: 'don't risk more than X percent,' 'scale in, scale out.' Intellectually, I get it. But then I see a chart, get that FOMO kick, and suddenly my 'small' position is looking rather robust. Then, when it goes south, I'm kicking myself for not sticking to the plan.

It feels like I'm always either too conservative and miss out, or too aggressive and get burned. How do more experienced folks manage this mental game? Do you have a rigid system, or is it more of an intuitive feel built over time? I'm genuinely trying to improve, and this feels like my biggest hurdle. Any insights on how you maintain discipline here would be much appreciated.
