Understanding Position Sizing in Crypto

Many new traders focus solely on entry and exit points, but position sizing is arguably more critical for long-term survival. It's about determining how much capital you allocate to a trade, not just your target profit. If you risk too much on any single trade, even a good analytical approach can be wiped out by a few consecutive losses. For instance, if you were considering a long on $DOGE at its current 0.07271, a proper position size would dictate how many coins you buy based on your total account size and stop-loss, rather than just blindly aiming for a specific profit percentage. It's a risk management technique, plain and simple.

Couldn't agree more. I see too many people overleveraging on trades, blowing up their accounts because they chased a big win instead of managing risk properly. Position sizing is the first line of defense.
