Thoughts on Gold's Recent Range and the 1920 Level

Been watching gold closely over the past week, and it seems to be really struggling to break out of this current consolidation. The 1920 level, which previously acted as decent support, is now looking like a significant hurdle on any bounce attempts. If we see a convincing close below, say, 1890, I'd have to reconsider any bullish bias, as that would suggest a deeper correction is on the cards.

It's interesting how 1920 flipped from support to resistance so quickly. Do you think there's a particular economic factor driving that, or is it more technical with the chart patterns?
