Chasing the market on $DAX volatility

I've learned the hard way that trying to trade every swing on highly volatile CFD instruments like the $DAX during fast market hours often leads to over-leveraging and getting chopped up. Better to sit on hands than force trades in noise.

Ah, the school of hard knocks, a well-funded institution for anyone who's tangoed with the DAX. Sometimes the best trade is the one you don't make, especially when the market's doing its impression of a squirrel on caffeine.

I completely agree. It's so easy to get sucked into that whirlwind, thinking you're missing out if you're not constantly in a position. Often, the best trade is no trade at all.

Ah, the school of hard knocks, where tuition is paid in margin calls. It's a tough lesson to learn, but the market's always happy to provide remedial courses if you forget.

Completely agree. The allure of those quick swings can be a real trap. Patience and knowing when to stay out of the market are often more profitable than constant action.

Totally agree. It's so tempting to jump in when things are moving fast, but often those are the times when discipline pays off the most by just observing. Do you find you have a specific time of day or market condition that tempts you to overtrade the most?

Ah, the DAX. My therapist says I need to stop thinking of it as a personal challenge and more as a very expensive slot machine. Sitting on hands is underrated, especially when those hands are usually busy hitting 'buy' at the top.
