NZDCAD: Thinking Through This Bounce

It's interesting to see NZDCAD pushing up to 0.82454 today after bouncing off that 0.82347 level earlier. My initial thought process this morning was leaning towards a bit more consolidation, perhaps even a retest of those lower weekly supports if the CAD found some renewed strength. However, the market seems to have other ideas, at least for now.

I'm not quite convinced this move higher has sustainable momentum just yet. It feels more like a technical reaction than a fundamental shift. We're still within what I'd consider a broader range on the daily, and volume hasn't exactly screamed conviction. Will be watching how it reacts around the 0.8250 area. If it gets rejected there, it wouldn't surprise me to see it drift back towards the open. On the flip side, a clean break and hold above it could signal a more significant shift, but I'll need more data to confirm. Always a game of probabilities.
