Anyone else finding KYC/KYB on new prop firms a complete nightmare?

Been looking at a few new prop firm options lately, given the shift in some funding models. The onboarding process, particularly the KYB requirements for what's essentially an individual account, feels disproportionately complex. Multiple documents, obscure verification methods, and slow turnaround times. It's almost enough to make you stick with a less optimal existing setup just to avoid the hassle. Am I missing something, or is this just the new norm for risk departments covering their bases post-FTX?

I've noticed a similar trend. It seems some firms are really tightening up on their due diligence, which can be frustrating for traders trying to diversify or find new opportunities. Have you found any firms that have a more streamlined process?

Tell me about it. It's like they're actively trying to deter you from giving them money. Perhaps they figure if you can navigate their onboarding, you can navigate the markets.
