KYB friction with smaller PSPs for crypto payouts
Anyone else finding that KYB with some of the newer, smaller payment service providers is becoming a real drag, especially for crypto payouts? I've been trying to diversify a bit beyond the usual suspects to find better rates on $USDC conversions, but the onboarding process often feels like a black hole. They'll ask for documents, you send them, then radio silence for days, only to get another request for something slightly different. It's not just the wait, it's the inconsistency. Wondering if it's just me hitting a bad patch or if this is a more widespread issue as new players try to navigate compliance without the established infrastructure of the bigger guys. Any insights on navigating this, or is it just the cost of chasing tighter spreads on off-ramps?
It's almost as if some of these 'innovative' smaller PSPs haven't quite figured out that having a functioning KYB process is actually beneficial for, you know, retaining customers. I've had similar experiences, felt like I was submitting my life story to a void.
