Onboarding speed and the cost of missed moves

It's become increasingly apparent that the time taken to onboard with some prop firms, particularly those requiring more extensive KYB for higher allocations, is becoming a significant competitive disadvantage. I've had situations where a multi-day review process meant missing solid swing opportunities in $NDX or $DAX. Are others seeing similar friction? And crucially, how are you factoring the potential for lost opportunity into your initial prop firm selection? Is it worth a slightly higher commission or tighter rules for faster access to capital?
