Anyone else hitting onboarding walls with new prop firm KYB?

Starting to look at a few more prop firms to diversify some capital and the KYB process on a couple of the newer ones is just a nightmare. I'm talking about providing utility bills from three different addresses because their system flags a minor discrepancy, then waiting weeks for manual review only to be asked for a notarized bank statement. This isn't my first rodeo; I've opened accounts with traditional brokers, crypto exchanges, and other prop shops without this level of bureaucratic friction. It feels like some are building these compliance layers on top of a shaky foundation, leading to an unnecessarily punitive user experience. Are we just seeing growing pains as the industry matures and compliance tightens, or are some of these firms genuinely struggling with scalable onboarding solutions? I get the need for diligence, especially with larger capital allocations, but the sheer inefficiency is becoming a major hurdle to even get started.

It's definitely become more stringent in recent years. I've found that having all documents prepped and matching exactly can still lead to hiccups, especially with newer firms that might have less refined KYB systems. Are these firms based in jurisdictions known for stricter regulations, or is it more of a general trend you're seeing across the board?
