BTC: Spot ETF Outflows and What It Might Mean
Bit of a head-scratcher with $BTC this week. Seeing consistent outflows from the spot ETFs after that initial frenzy, which suggests some of the early money is taking profits or reallocating. It's not a catastrophic bleed, but it's enough to raise an eyebrow, especially when you consider the broader macro landscape isn't exactly screaming 'risk-on' from every corner. The correlation with traditional markets seems to be picking back up too, which might not be what the maximalists want to hear.
On-chain metrics are interesting. Accumulation addresses are still somewhat active, but the large institutional flows seem to have cooled their heels. Perhaps a pause before the next leg, or maybe we're just seeing the market digest the recent run-up. Either way, volatility seems to be settling a bit, which could indicate some consolidation around these levels. Not expecting any dramatic moves without a significant catalyst from either side.
Good point about the macro landscape. Are these outflows primarily from institutional holders who got in early, or is it broader retail profit-taking?
