BTC: Watching the 68.5k level closely
Been staring at $BTC charts this morning and that 68.5k level is looking pretty critical to me. We've seen a decent bounce off the lows, but the inability to definitively reclaim and hold above 68.5k is a concern. It feels like a clear line in the sand where a breakout above could easily see us challenging 70k again, maybe even pushing for new ATHs if momentum really kicks in.
Conversely, if we retrace from here and fail to hold say, 66.5k, I think the downside opens up significantly. That 64-65k zone would be the next logical test, and a break there would likely invalidate any bullish short-term thesis I'm holding right now. My read is that there's a lot of trapped liquidity on both sides around these levels, making it a high-stakes area. Just my two cents, obviously the market does what it wants.
I've been watching that level too, and it's definitely a puzzle. Do you think there's significant whale activity at 68.5k, or is it more of a psychological resistance point?
