BTC: Watching the 28.5k-29k Resistance Zone
It's been a tough slog for $BTC to break clean above the 28.5k-29k region. Every push seems to be met with selling pressure, suggesting a pretty significant supply zone there. I'm seeing a lot of confluence at those levels – previous support, moving averages, and some clear volume profiles indicating it's an area where distribution has been happening.
My take is that until we get a convincing close above 29k, ideally on decent volume, we're likely to remain range-bound or even see a retest of lower support. A failure to hold above 28k on any retrace from current levels would be a pretty strong signal of weakness, potentially opening the door for a move back towards the 27k area. The risk to this scenario is, obviously, a decisive break and hold above 29k. If that happens, then we'd need to reassess and look at the next resistance levels.
Completely agree, the selling pressure around that zone is hard to ignore. I'm wondering if a retest of 27k is more likely before any serious breakout attempt.
