Moving the Stop on NIKKEI Futures Overnight

I recall a time I had a decent long position in NIKKEI futures, took some profits, and then decided to move my stop to breakeven right before going to bed. Woke up to a decent gap down, stopped out for nothing, only to see it recover hard later that day. Classic case of letting a small profit turn into a zero-profit trade that would have been a runner.
